So who is this mysterious “Tiana” person?
I’m a 22-year-old mother from Germany who was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and is happily engaged to a man with body image problems. I tend to contradict myself a lot, and I apologise for that, but it is a well-known fact that chronic pain can negatively affect one’s ability to concentrate. My brain resembles a sieve at times. I am poor thanks to my illness, but fortunately surviving without a job is fairly easy in my country. Sometimes I do wonder if I were even still alive if I’d grown up in the United States instead. I guess I got lucky.
My real name is Tatjana, by the way. I will write about anything that comes to mind, from politics to personal details regarding my health.

Dear Tiana,
I was very happy to find your blog. As an obese woman and a science writer, I am very interested in exploring the same things that you are. I hope you will check out my blog, called Fat Science (http://fatscience.wordpress.com).
Cheers, Miriam
